The journey of the Association of Motor Dealers in Anambra State began with a vision embodied by Dr. Chukwuebuka N. Bosah (CEO of OKENWA 001 MOTORS). Concerned about the challenges associated with the car dealership business, such as stolen vehicles, fraudulent practices, and car snatching, he set out to form an assembly of car dealers to raise awareness and educate fellow dealers on these dangers. He invited them to join forces and form a stronger association, which they named Awka Car Dealers Association. In February 2024, the association broadened its scope to cover the entire Anambra State, recognizing the statewide reach of its members. This led to the creation of the Association of Motor Dealers in Anambra State (AMDAS), with Mr. Bosah serving as its inaugural chairman.
